About
Born, Bideford, Devon, 1960
Initially trained as a physicist and worked in medical physics research, teaching and clinical application for many years and still currently involved part time in this activity.
Life long interest in arts inspired by my father R J Lloyd (see here also)
My arts practice uses a range of media, including drawing, photography, sound and moving image to explore our sense of being and place. I am interested in the relationship between our immediate subjective sensory experience and our rational understanding informed by science, culture, history and memory.
